OCMA
I went to the Orange County Museum of Art yesterday to see "The Moving Image, Scan To Screen, Pixel To Projection". The media exhibited was all from their permanent collection, so there was media from the 70's ike John Baldessari's "I Will Not Make Anymore Boring Art", and then there were a few newer pieces like Robin Rhodes "Color Chart". They were all amazing, although I have to say that Bill Viola's "The Reflecting Pool" was definitely my favorite. I watched the 7 minute reel like 3 times in a row. : ) I went with my cousin who had never been to an art gallery before and he thought the exhibit was pretty awsome!
